'BrackenMoor' originated from a pure vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Established by the Rossi kin in 1985, our quaint pizzeria was once merely a humble, kin-managed spot with recipes passed through many family generations.
Marco Rossi, the progenitor, picked up pizza crafting on her sojourns across Italy, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples—where pizza was conceived. On her return to the UK, her aim was to replicate the quintessence of authentic Italian pizza, electing to stick to original methodologies and supreme ingredients.
Starting as a cozy pizzeria with just 12 tables, it has now expanded to a cherished community fixture. Nevertheless, our dedication to supreme quality and genuine tradition remains intact. It's in our heritage to employ traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch every day, and procure the most premium ingredients available.
To this day, 'BrackenMoor' is still within family hands, now stewarded by the second-generation Rossi lineage who helms our spirited crew. While we've adopted new improvements, our primary mission endures: serving sumptuous, bona fide pizza, that draws people together.
